My Swedish LK35 w/ modifications + gear layout

Trimming the fat on my multi-day pack for the new year, pretty satisfied with the weight as it sits and thought I'd share some pics. I switch from tent to hammock out of rain season which helps the weight load.Pack is a heavily modified Swedish military LK35. Sewed on a Swedish gun belt around the pack which allows pouches to be mounted onto the sides/front, happy with the result. Kidney belt and shoulder straps are from a US Alice pack. Paracord carry handle weaved on.Sleeping pad/bag, pillow, sitting pad, tent, spare clothes, spork, dowel, axe, saw, stove, cup, bag rain fly, water filter, bearspray, knife x 2, firesteel x 2, first aid kit, shemagh, flashlight x 3, towel, sewing kit, hygiene kit, lighter x 3, water bladder, compass. It's a bit on the heavy side sitting at 40 lbs, there are definitely a few places I could trim weight (other than the heavy pack itself). Biolite stove and tent are real anchors but in rainy Vancouver where mosquitos are rampant and wood is soaked fully through, it adds so much comfort to camp.http://ift.tt/2gvnNJa http://ift.tt/2hDNkw0 http://ift.tt/2gvrlLK http://ift.tt/2huKzBg's what it looked like originally, I actually prefer this streamline look over the modified look, but function > aesthetics. It's nice being able to reach for my rain cover or first aid kit without having to open up my pack. The pouches are fully removable and can clip onto my belt if I wanted to leave my pack at camp.http://ift.tt/2gvp2Z3 http://ift.tt/2grAtfq
