I'm looking to design a good survival/emergency knife and would like some input.

While most manufacturers advise against prying or any such use of a knife, the goal here is the opposite. The idea behind this particular knife is to be able to do as many things as possible without breaking/failing. In a survival scenario, a high quality knife can mean the difference between life and death. I want to design a knife that helps guarantee that you make it back to camp at the end of the day. There are only two specs that are required: no less than 1/4" thickness and long enough to provide good leverage, if needed. Any other feature is fair game and will be considered (as long as it's feasible). I appreciate any input that you have and, with any luck, you guys will see the finished product on the market. http://ift.tt/2fVZdjH
