Anyone here have experience with the "Woodsman's pal" WWII bush knife?

Hey guys! I had a birthday recently and my father gifted me one of these strange multi-use bush knives. While trying to research it's usefulness I stumbled upon the fact they were actually issued in the u.s. military as a multipurpose machete, has anyone here ever seen or heard of these? I'm not usually a fan of multipurpose tools like these but it seems well made and easy enough to process wood with, I also liked the fact it seems ideal for fleshing hides. Any insight as to whether or not it would make a suitable tool for our hobbie's requirements? Thanks! http://ift.tt/2fWkdad
